I just want to be able to play Vice City with the same controls as GTA III. I used Ginput for GTA III and I had zero issues. Everything is mapped to the controller perfectly. I’ve even used two other Xbox one controllers including my elite controller. I am so lost and about ready to throw in the towel.
I am pondering picking up the GTA collection which includes GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, IV, and Episodes from Liberty City. The thing is that III, Vice City and IV all mention only partial controller support. San Andreas and Episodes from Liberty City don't mention controller support at all. The only issue with this is that it would also change your controls on foot. So if you change X and square to L2 and R2, the run button will also be R2 and the jump button will be L2.
